Right now, I work at a very cozy, low-traffic coffee shop that opened just a year ago, where the management is very kind and genuinely treats me like part of the family. Accordingly, I respect all our customers, remember their habits, and am always happy to see them. But before that, I worked at a very standard, crappy coffee shop, where all the employees (myself included) used one shot of espresso per two cups of coffee and poured less milk with more foam to reduce consumption. We didn't value each person individually, because even if one said our coffee was crap and never came back, two more would immediately take their place.

So, would it be fair to call me a bad employee, or have I been just corrupted by the system?

Well, I'm not hiding, so you can just look at my profile to see who I am. I'm a metal journalist from Belarus who started her career running a Mayhem tribute page with various facts about the band, and went on to interview Sorry..., Dymna Lotva, Machine Head, Ciemra, and more. And there have been, and still are, things related to Mayhem in my life that people here usually call cringeworthy. I cosplayed Euronymous (he's on my profile), using real bullets for my belt, and I also commissioned an art of Dead as Viago from «What We Do In The Shadows» for a dakimakura, because I'm willing to spend any amount of money for a rofls. At the same time, I support my country's local scene (including black metal), buy band merch, and try to push them from the underground into the mainstream.

A question exclusively for the bosses of this subreddit. Tell me, can someone like me be called a poser?
