I just wanted at least one person who's been through the same thing to see my story. I'm 20 y.o. girl, and at the beginning of the summer, I broke up with my bf of six months (it was my second relationship; my previous one lasted two years). I started having problems at work and fighting with my parents, so much so that they literally kicked me out of the house. But not long before we broke up, my ex showed me Brawl Stars and gave me his old account from 2022 or 2023. It had only silver ranks, but I became so hooked that I now have three brawlers from the second prime. Every time I come home from work, I sit down to play on my tablet, often with my brother or my bf, and it gives me incredible pleasure.

Yes, I'm in a new relationship now, and it's much stronger than the previous two, because this guy was my friend for two years, and now we've started dating after we both got closer after our breakups. It turns out he used to like Brawl Stars too, and he restored his old account for me. We also share the same favorite ship — Edgar and Colette. We love the idea that we've been friends for a long time, had unrequited love (like Emz for Edgar and Spike for Colette), worked together (we were in the same metal band), and then got together in the same way these characters might have. Right now, we're preparing cosplays of them both for Halloween — I'm making everything for his Edgar, and he's making everything for my Colette. We're following this crazy series, each time Supercell drops some hint about that ship only to have it ruined in future, and so on in a circle, to keep community's attention (like the Brawlentine event, when Angello said Edgar wasn't crazy to have feelings for Colette, and then inf has appeared that Angello's gossip can't be 100% trusted because he loves drama; and If you were about to write about the age gap, please, read this post: https://www.reddit.com/r/Brawlstars/s/ExCHWWLqpe)

Also because of the Duolingo event, I actually started learning Spanish so I could chat with my friend from Mexico. Btw, she drew this wonderful commission for me (natasdas.kt).

Many of you know that Paul (former skin designer for Brawl Stars) once made an official statement in X (former Tweeter) regarding the ages of various characters. According to his statement, we had 13-15 Penny, 20-23 Bea, 28-31 Max, 16 Edgar and some others. So he left the company in 2021, leaving behind a ton of controversy within the fandom about the accuracy of these numbers. But he also mentioned that the ages he stated were just concepts, and they're briefs for the voice actors and ideas that aren't entirely confirmed. So here's the reminder: concepts ≠ officially released game characters; the words of a former artist ≠ the words of current team members.

So please respect each other and let's keep peace in our community ✌🏻

This cosplay isn't exactly for me, but for my boyfriend. We agreed to cosplay as Edgar and Colette, so I'm gathering the items for his Edgar, and he's buying everything for my Colette. I already have the scarf, pants, and boots, so all that's left is to wait for the gloves to arrive and the print to be applied to the shirt. Wish us luck!

I like to think that I'm representing some kind of "spiritual daughter" of Vessel here, since the image is only partially based on Sleep Token, and is otherwise an original concept. What do you think?
