i’m pretty sure this happened in a video; where logan, lovell, and chris break character and talk about how sml used to be cool, referencing shit like chef pee pee quits or some other old video(s)

Due to the show’s intentionally cheap animation and its ability to produce episodes in a week (prior to Seasons 27 & 28, where episodes released bi-weekly), I imagine the show’s probably much cheaper to produce than other cartoons, but since the later seasons have more advanced animation than the earlier seasons, surely the show’s not that cheap to produce anymore? Especially compared to the early years. What was the budget back then? When did they get a bigger budget? How much does an episode cost now?
