Anyone else getting a high-pitched whistle with ANC on? (Maxwell 2)
Hi everyone, I’m getting a very high-pitched whistle when ANC is switched on, mainly in the right ear but sometimes in the left too. It sounds like feedback and can happen when I move my jaw or chew. Sometimes it’s intermittent; other times it continues.
This has happened since the first use. I’ve updated the firmware, but the issue remains. With ANC off, the whistle disappears.
I’ve had mild tinnitus since my twenties, so this noise is particularly disturbing and sometimes painful. I’ve stopped using ANC for now.
Has anyone else experienced this with the Maxwell 2? Is it a known issue, or does it sound like a defective unit that I should return or exchange? Could different ear cushions help if it’s related to the fit or seal?
If anyone has found a solution, I’d really appreciate hearing what worked.
