I came across some clearance paints and grabbed them all up. This helmet design also intrigued me, and thought why not use the paints on it. I've printed most of the kit for a different build, but it's not painted. I may end up swapping to this and have another wall trophy with my first helmet.

I spent more time in post than I want to admit. It didnt help that after the first coat of paint, while drying in the garage my child decided it was a great time to kick a ball around inside and of course knocked it off the painting stand. It took a good hit amd cracked one of the wings pretty good. So more bondo and post processing occurs.

It's gotten to this stage where im going to add in an accent color of a straw yellow.

Working on 2 sets for my daughter and myself. Foundling kit for her with some matching gauntlets to show her the way. Mine is a "custom" with an assortment or kit parts from all over the outer rim. I just finished my bucket, and had an issue with the clear coat on hers which is in process to be fixed.

Hoping to have the helmets done by the time we go see the movie.
