Does it drive anyone else bananas that the road markings painted on the roads are upside down in terms of word order? I believe that the theory is that you will read the words individually as you get closer to them, but realistically what happens is that having spent your entire life parsing text as being top-down, you end up doing the same for the road markings and then you have to unjumble them in your brain. What lunatic was responsible for this design decision?

In the back section there were a lot of people who appeared to be having an uproariously good time, with a DJ etc. I stuck my head in the door however there didn't seem to be any free tables and those at tables seemed to be established groups so I don't know if it would have been appropriate to sit down at any table with free chairs.

How does one hear about these types of events? Do you need to be in a group or is it possible to go alone or as a couple? If you need to be in a group, how do you join a group prior to going to such an event? Thank you in advance.
