I just received a status update that USCIS has issued an RFE for my EB-2 NIW I-140 under Premium Processing after about 37 business days. I am still waiting for the actual RFE notice to arrive.
While I wait, I’d like to ask those who have successfully responded to an NIW RFE:
What additional evidence helped strengthen your case?
what documents did you submit?

What evidence do you believe made the biggest difference in getting your case approved after the RFE?

I have a background in cybersecurity with professional experience, industry certifications, recommendation letters, GitHub projects, and HackerOne vulnerability research.

Hi everyone,
I filed an EB-2 NIW I-140 petition together with Form I-907 for premium processing. USCIS already accepted my I-140 and issued a receipt number, and they charged the I-140 filing fee from my account.
However, the premium processing fee has still not been charged, and I have not received any separate I-907 receipt notice yet.

Has anyone experienced this before where USCIS accepted the I-140 first but processed premium processing later? How long did it take for your premium fee to be charged or for the I-907 receipt to arrive?
Would appreciate hearing recent experiences. Thanks!

My EB-2 NIW self-petition package with premium processing was delivered to the USCIS lockbox 3 business days ago. So far, my debit card has not been charged and I haven’t received any text/email receipt notice yet.

I included Form G-1145 and premium processing forms correctly.

Is this still within the normal timeline recently? How many business days did it take for you to receive the payment charge or receipt notice?

I’m currently inside the USA on E-2 status and feeling a bit worried. Would appreciate hearing recent experiences from others.

I recently filed my EB-2 NIW as a self-petitioner with premium processing in the cybersecurity field and wanted to get some insight from others in a similar situation.
My background:
Independent cybersecurity researcher
Active on HackerOne (multiple valid reports, ~400+ reputation, acknowledgments from major companies)
Work related to vulnerability disclosure and improving security in financial/tech systems
My petition is based on national importance (cybersecurity research and vulnerability disclosure). USCIS has received my case, and I’m currently waiting for a decision.
