I'm pro-bridge lights, but wtf.
We spent a grip on these bridge lights, why the fuck are so many out already, and did we have some kind of service agreement with the installer?

I ended up getting it from the burnt building pile at Plok and Main.
Since I couldn't find a stamped one, I spent an embarrassing amount of time looking for a brick that showed some heat damage but wasn't totally trash. I wanted it a bit damaged so I can remember where it came from.
I got to say I was kinda supersized I had such a hard time finding a stamped/branded brick. I mean y'all had 2 brick companies in town Key James & W.S Dicky and countless turn-of-the-century brick buildings. (I'm a bit jealous)
That's said, thank y'all for pointing me in the right direction, I kinda think my timing was bad…a lot of places here are closed on Monday and that's the only day I had time to look.
I tried-
- Dirty Janes, closed Mondays
- The refinery, she said she had sold the one she had a few weeks ago.
- Re-store, closed on Monday.
- southeastern salvage, didn't have one, and was kinda weird about both my asking about a brick and my asking where I might find one.
- Venterest Southside. Nothing, was a cool MCM headboard though
- I also wrote to two people on the marketplace with no reply.
Maybe next time.
I know this post had been long but one last thing. One of y'all needs to start an actual architecture salvage place here to save the good stuff before everything is all 5 on ones and modern farmhouse. Lol.
Hey y'all I'll be visiting your town for a few days and I'm on the hunt for a brick.
I like to collect bricks on my travels. I'm looking for solid bricks with the manufacturer's name on them. Even better if it says the city name on it.
I don't care where it comes from- one that's been sitting by the side of your garage for years, an architecture rehab store, the local dump… I would be so thankful if someone pointed me in the right direction to find one.
Thank you so much in advance!
(The brick pictured is the NOLA version of what I'm seeking)
I said I have lots of trinkets in the other post. So I put some in today.
I made the alligator just for this box.
Thank you to whoever put the bag of dicks in the exchange, I am now waiting for the perfect moment to use them as a prop in a bar joke.
I know it's standard practice to call the police when you fine a gun.
I've seen post with people talking about getting it back after awhile. I've seen ones where it's a recovered stolen gun and the original owner gets it back.
I've never seen a post about it was confirmed to have been used in a violent crime. That feels strange becuse that seems like the number one reason to toss a gun in a body of water.
