I have already spent around $300+ for Ginger’s treatments, laboratory tests, confinement, antibiotics, and supportive medications 😞

Based on my computation, the GS-441524 vial costs around $51.92 each, and one vial is only good for 7 days with a dosage of 1ml once a day. The treatment will last for 3 months (84 days), which means the medication alone may cost almost $700 in total.

Aside from the GS treatment, there are still other necessary expenses such as antibiotics, supportive medications, and the special food recommended by his veterinarian, which are also very costly. Ginger will also need follow-up CBCs, blood chemistry tests, and regular veterinary check-ups throughout the treatment.

Despite everything, Ginger is still fighting 🥹 He is eating better now, slowly gaining weight, becoming active again, and showing signs that he still wants to live.

Hello everyone 😞

I am humbly asking for help for my cat, Ginger, who was recently diagnosed with FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis), a deadly disease in cats. I am only a first-year nursing student and I have already spent almost PHP 17,000 for his confinement, CBC, xray, blood chemistry tests, antibiotics, and supportive medications.

As of now, Ginger urgently needs GS-441524 treatment to continue fighting FIP 😞 One vial costs PHP 3,190 and is only good for 7 days. His special food and other medical needs are also very costly.

Despite everything, Ginger is still fighting 🥹 He is eating better now, gaining weight slowly, and becoming active again. I truly want to give him a chance to survive and recover.

Hello po, sa mga nakakita po ng una kong post for Ginger, marami po nag pm sakin suggesting na mag fundraiser nalang po for his treatment.

Actually po iyon din naman po talaga yung gusto ko 😞 Nahihirapan lang po talaga ako maghanap ng sponsor or someone na willing tumulong for his GS-44 treatment. Kaya po if nanaisin po ninyo na mag help through fundraising, sobrang laking tulong po non for Ginger.

Will provide po all receipts, laboratory results, prescriptions, proof of treatment, and updates po para transparent po lahat.

Kasi po estimated nasa 25,500+ po yung magagastos for the GS-44 treatment alone. Hindi pa po sure iyon kasi tumataas pa po yung dosage kapag tumataba or bumibigat yung cat during treatment. Wala pa po doon yung follow up CBC, blood chem, check ups, vitamins, supportive meds, and possible emergencies. 84 days po kasi yung buong gamutan niya. Kaya more or less 30-40k po ang naeestimate ko pong gastusin

Pero hindi ko rin po lilimitahan yung options Kung meron po talagang willing mag adopt kay Ginger at kayang iprovide yung full treatment niya, papayag din po ako. Mas importante po talaga sakin na gumaling siya kahit sobrang sakit po non para sakin.

With a heavy heart po, parang kailangan ko na po talaga ipa-adopt si Ginger. Hindi ko man po gusto, pero gusto ko po siyang mabigyan ng mas malaking chance gumaling at maalagaan nang maayos.

Wag niyo po sana ako ijudge. Student palang po ako. Meron din po akong small business before kaya nakapag ipon po ako kahit paano, pero hindi ko po talaga inexpect na aabot sa ganito ka costly yung magiging gamutan niya.

Ginger po is my adopted cat. Binigay po siya sakin noon na may malalang sipon na, pero napapagamot ko naman po iyon at tuloy tuloy ko po siyang inalagaan. Hindi ko po siya pinabayaan. Kaso po itong recent condition niya, hindi ko rin po talaga inexpect.

Ginger is diagnosed with FIP, a deadly disease po sa cats. Last April 23 po nagsimula lahat. Nagpa CBC po kami, xray, blood chem, tapos umabot din po siya ng 10 days confinement. Lahat po ginawa ko para lang mailaban siya.

Umabot na po ako ng halos 17,000 at iyon na rin po yung last savings ko galing sa small business ko. Tapos kahapon lang po naconfirm yung diagnosis niya na FIP. Yung treatment po kasi para doon is sobrang mahal talaga at hindi ko na po kakayanin mashoulder mag isa. Wala na rin po kasi akong business ngayon dahil super busy na po sa college, tapos meron pa po akong ibang cats at foster cat na inaalagaan.

NAPROVIDE ko na po lahat ng antibiotics, vitamins, check ups, confinement, at supportive meds niya. Ang kulang nalang po talaga is yung pinaka main treatment niya which is the GS-44. Nasa 3,190 po isang vial tapos good for 7 days lang po iyon.

Condition po ni Ginger as of now:

- Super okay naman po siya compared before

- Malakas naman po kumain

- Nag gain na po siya ng weight

- Mas stable na po condition niya

- Nakikipag laro na rin po paminsan minsan

MAY 14 UPDATE:

As of now po wala parin po siyang natatanggap na GS-44. Wala na po talaga akong mahugot for the treatment niya. Kaya kung wala man po mag adopt, baka po pwede po sana tayo mag fundraiser for him. I will keep everyone updated po and magbibigay po ako ng complete receipts and proofs.
