Im really confused about Edward/ the collective/ the vocation/ the ascendance
How did Edward know about the change, the traveller or when the pathfinder visit Veronica (or whoever it is in the strange note in his apartment) and how did he know the pathfinder visit somewhere at that exact date dated back so far as 198x ? I found no explanation about him at all.
The collective is... what ?are they a surviving human faction in the future that sent traveller back to the past for ... knowledge or win something back terminator - skynet style ? Or are thay the hive mind tyrannid style of the change that sent traveller back to the past to collect missing mind/ essence that they didnt collect ? but then we must be in the same timeline as the hivemind then why do we need to ascend the essence using traveller machines, all the while we can see throughout the game, the change technology all includes merging/ flesh based.
