Kathy Griffin and the smooth blues of Curtis Salgado (Ep 393 7/2/26 10AM PT/1PM ET)

Your number one source for comedy and blues returns! This week Tim will be yuking it up with friend of the show Kathy Griffin, followed by a hot set from the original Blues Brother himself, Curtis Salgado!

Got a question or a topic to share? No one wants to hear it, but you can nonetheless get in the Zoom room or call the Hothead Hotline.

As a new viewer, I don't know which I'm more enraged by today: Tim's elitist bullying of Carson or Vic's cowardice as a father.

Now I know what you're all thinking and you're not entirely wrong. Carson means well but exercises profoundly poor judgement. We all remember the physical altercations he caused at the Disneyland parking lot and the strain that has put on the show. But that is no reason to yell at him like that. Carson is in fact the only member of the show who shouldn't be yelled at.

Okay, I take that back. Doug gets a pass too but only because he's obviously some kind of robot. And the two hippies that watch Carson while Vic is on camera seem okay. But the rest need to be straightened out.

First off, there's Matt. Now I'm not going to get into his legal bullshit but fuck this guy. He needs to focus less on his lawsuits and get serious. If he were running the show correctly, they wouldn't have Carson anywhere near any kind of pies let alone knives! The sooner Matt is relieved of his duties, the sooner the healing can begin and the laughter return.

Next up is ol' Hollywood Tim. Hey Tim, guess what? No one gives a fuck about your celebrity pies, least of all Sarah Sherman. She lives in NYC and has access to the kinds of pies that you could only dream of. Pies even bigger than your giant celebrity-ass-kissing mouth, if you can believe it.

Carson is doing the best he can with the cards and the father that he was dealt with. The only thing more disappointing to Sarah than the crudely cut "slice" of Larry David's unappealing plug pie was your badgering of a sweet, strong, yet severely misguided young man.

But it's with Vic that I feel the greatest sadness and anger. If I still had a son, I would never let him get bullied like that. I don't care who the guest is or what kind of promotional deserts are in the mail: you protect your child, especially one as kind but troubled as Carson is.

Office Hours Live is about many things, but it is primarily about fathers and sons. I hope that they can all try to remember that going forward and let that guide them towards better behavior and better shows. If Tim could stop being a dick and Vic less of a deadbeat, I bet they could get all kinds of celebrity desserts. I hear Martin Short has a promotional bundt cake that is to die for!

Asking for the original purchase price. Long story short, the venue released seats in a weird way, and we kept buying new tickets to get slightly closer to the stage (we're big fans and got silly in the moment). Now we have six extra reserved seating (not grass) tickets, each two seats next to each other, and we don't want to sell them on a reseller site because they charge folks so many fees. Here are the details:

Section 4, Row L, Seats 414 & 415. Selling together at purchase price of $147/each, $294 total.

Section 4, Row B, Seats 409 & 410. Selling together at purchase price of $172.25/each, $344.50 total. These are aisle seats.

Section 4, Row A, Seats 408 & 409. Selling together at purchase price of $172.25/each, $344.50 total. These are front row of the section seats.

These are all physical tickets, not digital, so we will need to meet in public somewhere to make the exchange. Venmo or cash is fine.
