Macroadenoma non functioning

Hi I’m a 37M got diagnosed with a pituitary tumor in April 1st 2026 they found it accidentally on a ct scan it came it at about 2.9cm pressing alittle on optic nerve and leaning on one of the carotic arteries, the crazy part is how I found it.. out of no where I was getting periods of lightheadedness like I was going to faint and also skipped heart beats this happened for a couple days, one day it happened at work and I literally fainted and was rushed to hospital where they requested I do I ct scan and that’s where they found it, after finding it I have not gotten any more episodes of light headless or skipped heart beats and doctors are saying it was not related and are amazed at how this all happed, I never had vision problems and dont really have any headaches so if it wasent for me fainting I would probably never would have found this. after MRIs and talking with two separate brain surgeons they both agree it’s non functioning ( non hormone secreting) and due to my age and size should need surgery ( endoscopic surgery ) through the nose. I have a good surgeon lots of years of experience about 15 years and he gave me a 99% percent chance of waking up from surgery neurologically intact , however even with this I’m still so paranoid keep thinking about catastrophic issues that I read about online, due to anatomy being in such close proximity to tumor examp carotid arteries and all I’m so worried however small the chances are can anyone relate or have any similar experiences to me ? also can anyone share there experience on surgery day more specifically going under Anastasia and being rolled into operating room I think this part rattles me the most as well ?
