Society is a contract that is supposed to be mutually beneficial. If a person adheres to (what they perceive as) the rules, they should absolutely expect society to fulfill the expected reward. People who say the quote in the title just simply disregard any benefit they receive because they have received them most of/their whole life and are blind to them. They may still feel wronged by society about not receiving expected rewards, but cannot fathom that other people have different expected rewards.

I'm looking to excavate a lot of material to build a road below a (religious) building of mine for no particular reason. Some of you with experience in building similar structures, i kindly request assistance

My gf and I are going to protest ESC during the finale on Saturday. It's not extremely far from where we live but still far enough that we'd like to spend the day in Vienna. Do any locals have suggestions about what to do before/after? E.g., palestinian restaurants, pro-palestinian/anti-zion4zi establishments, etc? Preferably something inside, since the weather is gonna suck
