🔥 2in1 QATAR AIRWAYS BUSINESS CLASS: DUBLIN → LAGOS + DOHA FROM €1,457

Thought this one was worth sharing here because the pricing is unusually good — and importantly, I also managed to reproduce it directly on Qatar Airways.

Example itinerary:

🇮🇪 10 Nov: Dublin → Lagos in Qatar Airways Business Class
🇳🇬 8 hotel nights in Nigeria
🇳🇬 19 Nov: Lagos → Doha nonstop in Business Class
🇶🇦 4 nights in Doha
🇶🇦 23 Nov: Doha → Dublin nonstop in Business Class

💶 Mytrip / Skyscanner Ireland: around €1,457
✅ Qatar Airways direct: around €1,480

For roughly €23 extra, I would personally book directly with Qatar Airways.

Other highlights:

✈️ Qatar Airways Business Class throughout
💺 Lie-flat seats
🧳 2 × 32 kg checked baggage
📅 Plenty of combinations found between September 2026 and February 2027
🔄 Dates are highly customisable — you can shorten or extend either the Nigeria or Doha stay

⚠️ One important catch: the cheapest direct Qatar fare is Business Lite, so lounge access is NOT included.

I’ve checked both the OTA price and the Qatar Airways direct price, so this isn't an OTA-only mystery fare.

Full itinerary, example dates and both fare proofs here:

https://www.dinothetourist.com/crazy-business-class-deal-2-in-1-visit-nigeria--qatar-from-just-euro1457-with-qatar-airways.html

Would you take this at €1,480 direct with Qatar — and how would you split the time between Nigeria and Doha?

BUSINESS CLASS with BA during XMAS & NYE - Bucharest - Budapest & Prague to San Jose, COSTA RICA from €2390

🎄✈️ Business Class to Costa Rica over Christmas and New Year from €2,390 return

I found British Airways Business Class fares from Bucharest, Budapest and Prague to San José, with dates covering Christmas, New Year’s Eve or both.

The most interesting detail is the long-haul product: the London–San José flights are currently showing a refurbished Boeing 787-8 with the modern 1-2-1 Club Suite configuration.

That means:

✅ Fully flat Club Suite on the long-haul flight
✅ Direct aisle access for every passenger
✅ Two checked bags of up to 32 kg each
✅ One protected connection at Heathrow

Prices currently start from approximately:

🇷🇴 Bucharest — €2,390
🇭🇺 Budapest — €2,437
🇨🇿 Prague — €2,466

There are options for 7, 9, 14 or 16 nights, including stays covering both Christmas and New Year.

One important clarification: the European feeder flight to London is shown on an Airbus A319 with standard European Business Class, so that sector is not fully flat. The lie-flat Club Suite experience is on the much longer London–San José Boeing 787-8 flight.

Also, never assume every Boeing 787 has the same Business Class cabin. Before paying, open the seat-selection page and check the layout yourself. I did exactly that, and the seat map showed the desirable 1-2-1 configuration, rather than the older 2-3-2 layout.

Aircraft can still change later, but checking the seat map before booking is always worthwhile.

What do you think: €2,390–€2,466 for Christmas and New Year in Club Suite — excellent value or still too expensive?

Business Class from Rome to São Paulo from €1,953 return, including Carnival dates

🇮🇹 Rome → São Paulo, Brazil 🇧🇷

Sharing a very interesting Business Class fare from around €1,953 return with British Airways.

The itinerary includes one connection in London, 2 × 32 kg checked baggage, and the long-haul sectors are scheduled on the Airbus A350-1000.

There are many available dates between October 2026 and May 2027, including options that match the official São Paulo Carnival period from 5 to 10 February 2027.

One example is 31 January–9 February, arriving in São Paulo on 1 February, which gives travellers time to enjoy most of the Carnival celebrations.

🇸🇪✈️ Two Air China Business Class deals from Stockholm to Asia: Hong Kong & Seoul from around €1.2k return

Air China currently has some interesting Business Class fares from Stockholm Arlanda (ARN) to East Asia via Beijing (PEK).

Two examples:

1. Stockholm – Hong Kong
Direct on Air China: around €1,230 / SEK 13,571 return
OTA prices may be lower, from around €1,165 / SEK 12,855

Details and selected dates with better timings:
https://www.dinothetourist.com/business-class-flights-from-stockholm-to-hong-kong-from-just-euro1165--sek-12855-with-air-china.html

2. Stockholm – Seoul
Direct on Air China: around €1,276–€1,292 return depending on dates
OTA prices may be lower, from around €1,245 / SEK 13,750

Details and selected dates with better timings:
https://www.dinothetourist.com/business-class-flights-from-stockholm-to-seoul-from-euro1245--sek-13750-with-air-china.html

Both routes appear to include:

  • Business Class return
  • 1 stop each way via Beijing
  • 2 × 32 kg checked baggage
  • Meals included
  • Reasonable connection times available
  • Travel period mainly July–September 2026

I have summarised the more useful date options with better connection times in the links above, since some cheaper options may have less attractive schedules.

This is probably more of a good-value Business Class fare than a top-tier luxury product. Air China Business Class is not Qatar/Singapore/ANA level, but the pricing is strong for Europe to East Asia in Business.

Worth checking carefully before booking:

  • All segments ticketed in Business Class
  • Aircraft type and seat layout
  • Lounge access
  • Baggage allowance
  • PEK transit rules
  • Fare rules and cancellation conditions
  • Hong Kong / South Korea entry requirements

Overall, potentially useful for anyone looking for a cheaper Business Class option from Scandinavia to Asia.

Any Vienna-based flight deal hunters here?

Hi everyone,

This might be a bit niche, but I was wondering if there are any people here in Vienna who are really good at finding cheap flights — either professionally, as a hobby, or just because you enjoy hunting for unusual routes and good fares.

I run a small travel blog / flight-deals project and I’m currently trying to grow it and eventually monetize it properly. I’d love to connect with like-minded people in Vienna who enjoy this kind of thing: cheap flights, mistake fares, smart routing, travel hacks, airline deals, stopovers, and finding trips that are actually worth booking.

The idea is not to spam or sell anything here — I’m mainly looking to meet people who share the same interest, exchange information, compare strategies, and maybe have a coffee or beer sometime in Vienna.

So if you are a flight deal hunter, travel blogger, aviation nerd, frequent traveller, or just someone who somehow always manages to find crazy cheap tickets, feel free to comment or send me a message.

Would be great to connect with some travel-minded people locally.

Ho creato uno strumento per stimare il costo reale di un viaggio — mi piacerebbe ricevere feedback sinceri

Ciao a tutti,

https://www.dinothetourist.com

Grazie in anticipo — anche le critiche dirette vanno benissimo, purché siano utili.

I built a trip-cost planning tool for cheap-flight hunters — would love honest feedback

Hi everyone,

I run a small travel-deals website and I’ve been building a trip planning tool that tries to answer one question that cheap-flight posts often miss:

“Yes, the flight is cheap… but can I actually afford the whole trip?”

The idea is simple: instead of only looking at airfare, the tool helps estimate the real total cost of a trip before booking. You can use it to compare destinations based on your budget and get a better idea of what the trip may actually cost once accommodation, food, local transport, and activities are included.

At the moment, the tool can help with things like:

  • estimating the total cost of a trip, not just the flight
  • comparing different destinations within a certain budget
  • checking whether a “cheap flight” still makes sense once hotel and daily costs are added
  • getting a rough breakdown for flights, accommodation, food, transport, and activities
  • helping decide whether a destination is realistic before spending time searching deeper

It is especially useful for people who find a good flight deal but want to know if the destination itself is affordable. For example, a €300 flight to one city may end up being more expensive overall than a €500 flight somewhere with cheaper hotels and food.

We are still improving it and continuously adding more destinations so it becomes useful for a broader audience, not just a few popular routes. The goal is to make it practical for budget travellers, backpackers, weekend trippers, and anyone who wants to avoid surprise costs after booking.

I’d really appreciate honest feedback from this community:

What would make this tool more useful for cheap-flight hunters?
Are there any cost categories you think are missing?
Would you use something like this before booking a flight deal?
Is the tool clear enough, or does it need a simpler explanation?

Here is the site/tool:
https://www.dinothetourist.com

Thanks in advance — brutal but useful feedback is welcome.

Regards,

Riccardo

Vale la pena visitare Palau ?

Ciao a tutti,

Grazie!

I’ve been looking more into Cuenca, Ecuador and honestly it feels like one of those places that deserves more attention than it gets.

Colonial streets, mountain views, local markets, easy day trips, and a much more relaxed pace than the bigger tourist hotspots.

I put together a practical guide covering what to see in Cuenca, possible day trips like Cajas National Park and Ingapirca, plus a few travel tips for first-time visitors.

Would love to hear from anyone who has been — is Cuenca underrated, or already getting too popular?
