Wiring question

Hello, I'm kind of a newbie since my last RV was parked on a piece of land for 10 years and consisted of slipping on a black wire and a red wire and that was that.

This is a new to me popup and I'm struggling with the wiring (see pics). When I hook up the pos and neg cables, I still don't seem to have power to the trailer (no lights or anything work). The wires are jumbled and spliced because the trailer came with a portable solar panel as well, so there are more wires here than I'm used to (the little 2/prong wire goes into the solar panel). I tested the 2 fuses on the red wires and they're good.

What am I missing? Like I said my last trailer was 29.5 foot with all the bells and whistles, and because I wasn't towing it all I had to do each weekend was connect 1 pos and 1 neg wire and I was good to go.

Side note I also don't seem to have a breakaway cable for the brakes... shouldn't there be one? It's a StarCraft 8-way connector and I'll be using a 40025 adapter to my 7-blade TV connection. But there's no breakaway cable.

Any help appreciated. I'll probably hire a mobile RV tech to come out and go over everything with me and check over all the appliances etc., but if I can get a head start on a few of the easier things, that would be great.
