What are the rules for getting paid for CAR days saved?

I have called out 4 times this year. I am thinking about calling out tomorrow, and I already will be out in early june for a doctor's appointment. If theoretically, I get discontinued, will they give me the CAR days that I haven't used, or is that only if I leave the DOE? Another reason why I want to use them is because i'm not sure if it's worth saving them, given I am moving 2-3 years from now, so my time in the DOE is limited

Is calling out 6 times this year bad?

And if I’m in my second year with a masters, how much roughly do I get paid a day? Just trying to figure out how much the payout would be

Can admin see if you filed an APPR at your last year’s school?

I filed one for an unfair observation last year at my old school, and I’m just curious if they can see it? I’m hoping they can read it and understand my score for that certain observation

Rules about being excessed?

I'm in my first year at a D75 school in brooklyn, and there are rumors that a site of ours might become part of a different D75 school. As a result, the teachers at that site can choose to come to my site if they want to stay within our school organization. There are also rumors of people being excessed if this happens.

As it's my first year, I'm concerned I will be one of the first to go. If it does happen, what are the rules? Like is there a specific time they have to tell me by, or can it happen randomly in the summer?

Short post conference meeting for formal observation?

I had my formal observation, but still haven't had my post conference yet. My principal keeps postponing it since she is busy. She said that we can do it in the morning before school since we both come in early, and that it will be only a few minutes. Another time she suggested the last few minutes of the school day

Is this a good sign that my formal observation went ok?

I have seen this prek center in the Bronx on open market last year and this year for a sped position.

Is that a red flag? Especially since prek centers don’t usually have a lot of openings for new staff to begin with

I’m in alternate assessment and was told we would start doing stations soon. I know it’s every 10 mins that the stations rotate and we will have 3 stations. I was told the students can stay in their seats and I just change the materials when we rotate. So since I’m expected to be at every station doing explicit instruction, should I stay at each station around 3 mins?
