I love Rotterdam, I do. Born and raised here and I wish I could live here happily after. Unfortunately, the only accommodation I can find are overpriced houses South of the river and I know traffic is not the best in the Netherlands but the past two years??? Hellish. The erasmus bridge was closed, then you also had the trains malfunctioning, and of course Brienenoordbrug will start narrowing down its lanes next year… It’s absurd how public transport values west to east so much but north to south is pretty much disregarded. How come someone from Schiedam is in the city center sooner (whether car or metro) than I, someone living in the city.

Did anyone else make the choice to end up moving? Is there hope for less traffic on the horizon?
