Anyone experienced issues getting repairs or ordering parts?

I purchased my Pro S id.buzz May 9th at a dealership about an hour away from my home in Asheville, NC ( Wallace VW in Johnson City, TN). I got a crazy deal on it (41k) and was super happy to drive away with the van even though there was a "you need to have inspection completed" light on. They said they couldn't do anything about due to it being on a Saturday and the service department just had oil change techs.

No issues whatsoever on the drive back, but the next day I had the "There is an issue with your electrical system" alert, along with the inspection notification. I made an appointment with the dealer here in town, and it's been with them ever since! ETA on the repair is now Wednesday or Thursday of NEXT week due to the parts they need (something something 12 volt battery harness something) taking over a week to arrive after they spent a week figuring out what the issue was.

Has anyone else experienced delays Pro this bad getting service on their van? I realize there were several red flags here that I happily looked past due to getting such a great deal on the vehicle but we are solidly entering lemon law territory in NC. I realize the vehicle is new and parts depots are most likely not super deep with something they've sold for a year, but this experience has been a little disheartening and I'm a little freaked out should something else happen to the vehicle. Is this a VW service issue, or just growing pains from a brand new model?

Regardless just looking forward to having it back as the van is frickin awesome and I can't wait to drive it around again. The dealership lent me a Taos which is not quite the same experience.
