I used the built-in legacyAndroid screenshot feature and Threads thought it was suspicious and permanently disabled my account after reviewing it
I'm talking about the old Android screenshot feature. I disabled the new one that came with my Pixel 10 Pro when I got it last year because it was marking every screenshot as being made with AI with the content credentials thing. I dunno if they fixed that bug because I used the old one ever since.
I was trying to take a picture of a thread, and after I hit the screenshot button, I pressed the longshot button (which is built into Android, not a third party feature or anything). It instantly said my behavior seemed suspicious and had me do a captcha, enter a number they sent me, and take a selfie. I did all of that and it said they'll review it and get back to me.
I got an email a few hours later that said I still don't comply and that they permanently disabled my account.
I didn't have a VPN or any other software that they might consider suspicious. Just used a stock Android feature.
There was nothing in the email about appealing. What are my options?
