Job Agency isn't paying me
I'm typing this from my phone so I apologise for any typos.
About 5 weeks ago I found a job through a job agency and have been working there for 4 weeks. I didn't get payed for the first week and didn't suspect anything because I was told by others at the time that most jobs make you wait 2 weeks before getting your first paycheck (I should add that this job pays weekly). I now know that this didnt apply to this job as others starting at the same time as me got payed for their first week.
Fast forward to week 2 and I'm expecting to get payed 2 paychecks, yet nothing. I call them and they explain that they can't send me the money because i put in the wrong details and that they've sent me an email attempting to contact me (which they never sent). But fine alright, what's one more week
Week 3 comes around and they send over 2 payslip emails, which I had no way of accessing because they never sent me the password, and 300 euro is deposited into my bank account. At this point im getting worried because although I am currently on emergency tax, 2 weeks worth of pay wouldn't come out to be 300 euro after emergency tax. This happened on a Friday and they are closed for the weekend, so I had to wait until Monday to contact them for an explanation and the password. I eventually got into contact with them and received the password, yet it turns out those two payslips were just one email sent twice.
Over the course of week 3 I send constant non stop emails and phone calls with no reply. I am eventually fed up and contact my manager, who gets contact with them the next day, yet still no response. So I show up to the job agency and they say that I will receive 3 checks this Friday (today)
Today comes around, and I've only received one check and one payslip. I've attempted to contact them via email and phone minutes after the transfer yet its radio silence and theyre once again closed for the weekend.
And that brings us to the present, where im not sure what I should do. Im missing well over 1.5k euro, 2 weeks worth of work and im being advised to send a formal written demand to the workplace on Monday that if I don't receive my money, I will contact revenue. Im not completely sure if what they are doing is completely illegal as in the contract it did state they can delay payments if I put in the wrong bank details, yet they've told me I will receive 3 checks in person.
Is there anything I can do, besides wait until Monday to contact my manager again and go through another week of unsure waiting
