Im on my first year of EE and I had an hp pavillion i5 9300h and 1050 but i already had 6 years with it and it couldn't even tun cs2. I was looking strictly for a light laptop with gpu for running cad and simulation software and was thinking about a p1 I came across for 400$ with the same processor as this and an nvidia t1200. But i found this one for 191 and became 186 after a 5$ discount. I have a spare nvnme and I can Charge it with my 67w phone charger so I dont worry about that, Im so excited for it to arrive! Any tips and tricks on it? Or anything I should know?

Last night I left my pc on before going to work, it has rained all day today and there was a bit of thunder but no outages, my pc is connected to a surge protector, kinda like the one u have on ur fridge.

Today when i came back the ROG standby light was off which was very weird, after a bit of trying to reset everything and trying different power supplies I noticed a red light on the top left 12v connector, there is almost. No info on the internet about it but gemini told me it means its probably on shortcircuit, thank God I tried my cpu on another mobo and it worked correctly but no matter what I did the standby light did not turn on, yes i resseted cmos. In the video it did not happen but the light sometimes tingles like it has a bad connection instead of being static.

What can i do
