Faulty Hyte y60 riser cable

Hey! So uhh my I got my brother’s hand me down Hyte y60 since he recently upgraded, and he told me that the gpu riser cable might be a little faulty, and he said he didn’t have any receipt or proof of purchase anymore if I wanted to ask for a replacement part. So, when i tried to test it, sure enough I believe the riser cable may be faulty, when you turn on the pc it boots normally and will SOMETIMES have a display, but after like 1-5 minutes the display will just go away and there’s nothing I can do to get it back. Its not the cable that’s the problem since its the same cable I’ve used on my previous build and it worked perfectly. So i tried finding like a different brand of gpu riser that I can maybe use as a replacement but most of what I’ve seen online said it won’t work because of hyte’s non-standard mounting layout.

So my question is, does anyone have any workarounds for this? Since in my country, buying a completely new Hyte gpu riser is half the price of the Hyte y60 already and I am broke as hell LOL, thanks in advance for those who can help!

Will upgrading make a difference

Hi, so I currently play on an RTX 3060 and a 5600X with 16GB DDR4 RAM (8x2), and lately, the game has felt unplayable. I usually only had my FPS drop in areas like Lahai Roi and Septimont. But now, even playing the game normally, I’ve definitely been feeling FPS drops/stutters now and then, and I’m kinda getting tired of it lol. So I’ve been planning to upgrade to a 5800X3D, a 9070 XT, and 32GB of RAM to see if that fixes everything (by everything I mean I can comfortably play on medium to high settings without experiencing any stutters or FPS drops at 2K resolution). Or will that not make any difference and I’ll still be experience occasional stutters/fps drop, meaning I should just go for the AM5 platform? (I really can't justify doing this because of RAM prices XD). Thanks a bunch!
