VIRPIL FLNKR Grip - Is It Too Big?

Hello - contemplating a grip to buy. I love everything about the FLNKR but am worried about the size of it (average-sized hands). I've never had the opportunity to hold it but most of the reviews say it's huge and only for larger hands. I get that it is supposed to be based on the real life stick, but at least the red button is said to be very difficult to reach.

Does anyone have this grip and have thoughts on this? Has anyone compared it to their AERO grip in size?

Thanks!

No Integrated Cables On Aluminum Frames?

Yes, I know hidden/integrated cables make maintenance harder and can limit adjustability. However, I think the vast majority of buyers appreciate the aesthetics and visual simplicity, and integration with separate bars/stems can address most adjustability issues. It seems like almost all brands reserve this integrated cable treatment for carbon (or even only high-end carbon) frames.

I have to be cynical: are manufacturers only doing this to up-sell people to carbon frames for this feature?

Can anyone recommend an aluminum road bike frame (aside from CAAD14) with fully-integrated routing?

Premium 'Prime' Version of VIRPIL CDT-AERO Grip?

Looks like VIRPIL has done a great job with the layout/shape/proportions of the CDT-AERO grip. Aside from the Constellation (which is clearly space-focused), their only other aircraft grip is the FLNKR (which is huge and pretty specific).

I'd love a premium 'prime' version of the AERO with upgraded buttons/hats and a metal build and I think it would fit perfectly in their lineup. Thoughts?
