Patch 1.5 on the Experimental Branch
Hey all,
We’re making another patch for Update 1 and have decided to put it up on the Experimental branch on Steam. We want to get some early feedback from Experimental testers before releasing it to everybody, as there are quite a lot of tweaks and fixes in there. Since it’s not a full content update I don’t want to yell from the rooftops and do a Steam post, so I’m promoting it here to you. :) Extra eyes would be greatly appreciated! If you have time and are willing, please hop on to the Experimental Branch and give it a spin.
Anybody can access the Experimental Branch if they own Rogue Core on Steam.
Here’s how to set it live:
- Right click Rogue Core in your Steam library and select ‘Properties’
- Under ‘Properties,’ click the ‘Game Versions & Betas’ tab
- Select ‘experimental’ within that tab
Then the game will update and will boot into the Experimental branch next time you launch it. You can switch back any time through the same menu. Keep in mind that your save files from the Experimental branch don’t carry over, because we have cheats enabled there.
