My 2021 TX300i, the best toy I’ve ever bought.

I love this bike. It makes all the right noises, is fast as hell tree to tree when I need it, and can handle technical single track surgically. It’s the most fun I’ve had with a new sport in a long time.

This is my first dirt bike. I have some experience with power sports toys, had a 400ex before this and messed around with friends bikes and quads as a teenager but never had one of my own. Yes it’s a lot of bike but I’m not one for half measures, and I have zero regrets with my choice. Yes, a big 2 stroke will punish you if you get sloppy, but that forces you to respect it and focus on the now when you’re riding.

And a year and 74 hours of seat time later on dirt, rocks and ice I’m in much better shape than I’ve been in years, having tons of fun, and can now ride it to at least part of its potential lol.

Watching guys like Billy bolt rip the same bike remind me that 1. The bike can do it, I just have to let it do it. And 2. How much effort it actually takes to be mediocre at this sport.

She’s beached captain!

Tried to launch off this boulder into this muddy creek crossing, clearly underestimated it and high centered lol. Great 2 hour ride of some nice technical terrain on a cool evening last night, today is going to be an exact duplicate, might run it back!
