New here , any help?

Hey all. New here and looking for some guidance as it feels like nobody who hasn’t ever had it makes you feel like it’s a stomach ache.

Randomly one day after a shitty meal, unprocessed meat and then the following day a crap ton of fiber; my stomach started the symptoms of gastritis. I’ve had heartburn / indigestion before but it never lingered on for days. After 5 days I took myself to the ER hoping it wasn’t anything serious but the pain in my abdomen was unbearable.

Now I’m officially over a week and still having symptoms. ER thought it was gastritis, so I’m on omeprazole and carafate. It’s only been 3 full days and I know I gotta be patient but this feeling is hard to deal with times.

I have caffeine addiction, and every time I’ve drank coffee (in smaller doses) it hasn’t seemed to flare up but ai says it could take a while for the caffeine to do that. Anyone still drinking caffeine while having it?

So 2 questions:
Does anyone have any tips at all in how to relieve some pain during? Tylenol never ever does the trick so I deal with it for hours at a time.

2nd: I see people saying nausea and some stuff. My issue has constantly been upper stomach that goes through my abdomen at times but never into my chest or throat. At times I get that having to go to bathroom feeling but nothing comes out, or even sometimes I get that weird feeling in my throat like I should throw up but never gets there. Is this normal?
