Am I cooked?
Okay so basically I accepted both unsubsidized and subsidized loans though I fucked up big time. I completed the MPN and the Loan & Exit counseling thing a day after it was due since I wasn’t at all notified(I completely take blame for this). Recently I checked my Tuition and Aid tabs on the sfsu app and gateway to see that my loans were only seen as offered and not accepted. I just emailed the Financial aid office and I’m still crashing out about it. I completely understand that I made a mistake on my part, but I have no idea what to do if my loans will not go through. As of now, I’m looking up private loan options and mentally preparing myself to ask a few family members for money. Has this happened to anyone else?
