For the past 10 months I have been doing a weekly podcast discussing the history, lore, and mechanics of Sword World. This podcast has covered the broad strokes of 1.0, 2.0, and 2.5 over the course of 20 episodes.
In the coming weeks, we'll be going more specific. Each episode will be covering 1-2 books in order of release after the initial core rulebook trilogy in as close to chronological order as I can (this will change when there's new translations that fit my criteria). There's only a few things I will not cover:
- Replays, Novels, and Scenarios: For the most part there's not enough for me to dissect without turning it into my co-hosts and I just reading text, and I will only cover the data parts of Replays if I feel they add something significant (there will be exceptions).
- Core Rulebooks (2.X): The material within has already been covered. The Revised books from 2.0 are still on the table insofar as going into what changed.
- Core Rulebook EX (2.0): Alot of what's present here is in other books I plan to cover, so it'd be redundant.
- Raxia God Book (2.0): Most of this book is composed of short stories, not enough meat on the bones to dedicate a whole episode to.
These episodes are livestreamed on my youtube and twitch around 3pm CST (sometimes 4 due to timezones) and I will do my best to post the VoDs for them here.
