Grease Fire Suppression

I guess if you happen to get a grease fire from frying bacon on the sear plates.... remove food and quickly throw foil on the grill to smother the flames and protect the Recteq!!

Moonrise!!!

When I first bought Moonrise, I had no idea about it. Especially as my second JM ever, next to my Inaba Shidare. This little baby has had 3 flushes in the last month and it has been so exciting to see it grow!

Please note the lead on the left missing a chunk was from my dog biting it the day I brought it home. I have since learned my lesson on placement!

This is my replacement Viridis from Mr Maple that arrived 10 days ago. It took a week for it to seem happy, and now it seems even more stressed. The stems have turned purple, the leaves more droopy and some white spots on them that I assume might be from sun scorching? It is located on the east side of our house and all my other 1-3 gallon JMs are thriving. Soil is just a touch moist but I wonder if it got water logged from the rain this past weekend.

Just looking for some tips or reassurance that this little guy will survive...

The second photo is from last Friday.

EDIT: I contacted Mr Maple as a couple of you referenced the issue with the trunk and they concurred, issuing a replacement. Say what you want about Mr Maple, but they have been really great when it comes to customer service!
