Bad News! DIY Garage Ottawa on Mac Street is PERMANENTLY CLOSED!
I was trying to reach John this week and was redirected to their voicemail. I decided to drop by after work in case it was just a busted phone.
The entire space has been cleared out! Even the lifts are gone!
The workers there had no info on what happened to the business.
This is a real bummer! I had fun working on my Fiat 500 Abarth there. I've learned a lot!
There are a few jobs I can easily do myself in the parking lot of my apartment, but some planned work like changing the oil and later replacing the cooling system hoses requires a garage with a lift. And I don't want to have this work done my anyone else especially the oil changes. There have been way too many horror stories on how this routine job was completely botched. And on my car, it isn't so routine.
Does anyone know of any other garages that will let me work on my own car?
