Hi everyone,
I just got accepted for an Erasmus exchange at the Romanian-American University in Bucharest for my final semester (2026–2027). I’ll be studying International Business in English, and I also received a scholarship of 5107 EUR for the whole period (~4.5 months). Dorm accommodation is provided.
Honestly, I’m really excited but also kinda nervous and doubting myself. I’m worried I might not handle the studies well, especially because everything will be in English and it’s a new environment for me.
I also wanted to ask if anyone has experience living in Bucharest — do you think 5100 EUR is enough for basic living (food, transport, personal expenses) if accommodation is already covered?
And overall… would you recommend going on Erasmus even if you feel unsure at the beginning?
