Is it me or was Kim shin given literal zenkai boosts/plot armor to survive?
Like against the continental master dude, he some how improves during the fight to end up humiliating him in spectacular fashion after being pushed back. Baek Do Chan literally had him at deaths door and all of a sudden he enters flow state and reaches UI to beat him. The Brown Japanese dude had him dead to rights before his fucking sword handle broke (HOW??). He beats three top 10 fighters with half his body broken (still uses the broken parts without a problem), while one was somewhat equal to him and another legit got a zenkai boost near the end but still lose. Not to mention his heart nearly stopped on him, and he nearly fell into cardiac arrest. But I think the worst was when he beat Ma with legit the whole world stacked against him. Like I legit could not believe the bs I was reading. Like he literally had no achievable wincons, but he and the author managed to pull a win out of their asses. Like after castle one I was praying for him to lose cause the baek do Chan win was egregious. Like I know he was the MC and everything, but was it wrong for me to look for a bit of realism in the fights? And that's not to mention every ally of his who avoid death, as that's a whole different can of worms. Personally the story should've taken significantly longer cause there were clear places where he his team couldn't win realistically.
