My chances of getting all 10 pins double if I roll a gutterball first. Is this normal?
Last year I started bowling more frequently (just for fun), so I started keeping track of my stats on an app. In the past 14 months I have played 58 games. Currently, I get a strike 15.8% of my frames (110 total). But of my 12 first roll gutterballs, 4 (33.3%) were followed by spares. Has anyone else noticed doing this? Is it common, uncommon, or too small a sample size to be meaningful?
