Having an ICC event almost every year dilutes the special, rare nature of World Cups. Historically, a World Cup was a once in a generation spectacle now , fans suffer from event fatigue. look at Football handful of international tournaments where as we play icc champions trophy , t20 world cup , odi wc , asia cup ,test championship etc. in a year too many tournamnets and that limited teams why not increase the teams for competitiveness thoughts ?
