[IWantOut] 23M Algeria -> Germany/Canada

Hey everyone. Re-posting this after narrowing down my destinations. I am a 23-year-old guy currently living in Algeria, looking for a realistic and legal pathway to relocate to either Germany or Canada based on my professional background.

Some context about my skills and experience:

- I am a former sergeant, having completed 4 years of military service.

- My primary expertise is in the fuel and petroleum logistics sector, specifically handling technical maintenance of fuel stations, equipment monitoring, and safety compliance.

- I also have strong experience in inventory management, accounting, and logistics reporting.

I am disciplined, adapted to high-pressure environments, and fluent in French and Arabic, while currently working on my English.

My questions for the community regarding Germany and Canada:

  1. Given my specialized background in fuel logistics and technical maintenance, what are the most viable visa pathways? (e.g., Germany's Opportunity Card / Job Seeker pathways, or Canada's Express Entry / Federal Skilled Worker programs).

  2. How does a background as a former sergeant affect the background check or security clearance process for visas in Germany or Canada? Are there specific documents I should prepare beforehand to prove my role was strictly technical/logistical?

  3. Are technical certifications in fuel logistics and accounting from North Africa easily recognized in these countries, or should I look into bridge programs?

Any guidance or advice from anyone who has made a similar transition would be highly appreciated. Thank you.
