One piece episodes disappearing in uk

One piece episodes disappearing in uk

On the 20th may between 1:30 to 2:20 pm I watched one piece ep 435 (don’t judge I’m a slow reader). At 00:29 am on 21st may I decided to check my CR history and I noticed that all my one piece episodes are gone from my history. I go to check one piece and it says it only has 460 episodes from dressrosa onwards and including fishman island remaster. I had only watched the first 435 episodes.

I saw another user in the uk say they had episodes disappear too, but they said they only had 782 episodes available, but I only have 460 episodes available. Please respond to this if you are experiencing the same thing.

Due to this, I’ll have to get a VPN. Other users with VPNs, please tell me how they work with CR. Thanks

Edit: I also checked on my phone app and it’s the same too, so I don’t think it’s a technical issue.

Regarding the hianime and aniwatch takedowns

Hianime got taken down 13th march. Aniwatchtv.to got taken down about a month and a half after that. Aniwatch also went down with 9animetv.to, 4anime.gg, anicrush.to and kaido.to.

If you go on everything moe, it has all those sites grouped under the hianime section.

I don’t think this is a coincidence. I remember hearing about a new law. IIRC, it says that once a lawsuit is won to take down a pirate site, any related sites can be put on a blacklist and blocked without having to go through further lawsuits. I think that’s what happened here.

regarding gatekeeping

a lot of people say to gatekeep site names so crunchroll doesn't hear about them. however, what if crunchyroll can just go on index sites and find out about names from there? iirc, there's even a megathread on the piracy subreddit that lists some anime sites

Will anikai site remain up even if videos don’t play?

We all know that the video screen says about the fire and the data centre. But other than that the website still works. You can still upload comments. But no new episodes will be uploaded.

I was wondering if the site will stay up? It has an amazing search and filter features that I still want to use, to search stuff and try to watch it elsewhere.

what were the problems anikai was facing?

i am aware of the data centre fire. the week leading up to that, i was experiencing some issues with the videos playing where the video player would show up white and say something about megaup.nl not being available or something.

can you explain to me if there were any other struggles anikai faced before closing down? i heard that the data centre fire was kind of like the final straw in the problems the devs were facing

about the data centres

regarding the data centre that had the fire. it was multiple sites using that data centre, not just anikai. there were a lot of movie sites as well that i use that used the data centre. if the data centre does recover from it (i'll know because my movie sites will work again) then what'll happen to anikai?

is this a reasonable question or am i clinging on to hope?

regarding anime site takedowns

i've been pirating anime regularly for about 4 months now, so i'm still quite new. from people who have been pirating anime for a long time, is the frequency and speed of the recent anime takedowns ever like something you've experienced in the past?

anime sites with thumbnail previews

thumbnail previews are when you put your mouse on the play bar and an image appears to show you where you are in the video. anikai had thumbnail previews when i was on chrome or opera browser.

do you know any anime sites with thumbnail previews? it is a feature that i find very useful. please reply with the site domain and the browsers it works on.

piracy sites are being taken down quickly and i keep hearing about new anti piracy laws that'll make it easy for any new piracy sites that pop up in the future to be taken down easily. this is a scary time for us.

we all know that piracy sites have a lot of old and or obscure anime that the legal sites like crunchyroll, netflix, prime video etc don't have. when the pirate sites are gone, so will our access to those old/obscure anime. getting physical media versions of these anime will be incredibly tough if not outright impossible.

if there are any anime that you have yet to watch (or just want to have your own copy of) that you are sure won't be on legal streaming sites, then consider torrenting and downloading the anime. this may be your only chance to save the anime you want before they are lost forever.

i know that there are some old anime or OVAs uploaded on youtube. however if the anime is more explicit it can't be uploaded to youtube. or the explicit parts will have been cut out.

thanks to piracy i have found some really old yaoi/bl anime OVAs that i have really loved. i know that stuff will never be uploaded to legal streaming platforms. i also know that it would be incredibly hard for me to get dvds or other physical media.

download the stuff you love before it's too late
