Ok, we all here agree that 5sos fans on twt are fucking wild, but theres something different about these luke stans man. I saw a post some time ago that was talking about lukes broken finger and a normal person would be like 'damn, that suck' and thats it, but these luke stans were talking like 'oh my god my poor baby finger 😭😭 he needs to get all the rest possible to get better, im so sad for him :((( ' which. Why are we reacting like that man broke his entire hand or is actively dying? Its a broken finger, it shouldnt cause this type of reaction, im more surprised that this mf didnt broke anything else. And when u point it that this type of overreaction is weird they act like u jusy told them to die or smt, they say tgat theyre just worried about him and want to make sure he takes care of himself but like. Thats no being worried like a normal person would be worried, thats like what my mom would react if i broke a bone, and like, they arent his moms. Ive seen people babying those man a lot on twt but i dont think ive seen them being babied THIS BAD before...

This is not really a snark per se but im still posting it here cuz i just wanted to rant a bit about some things, sorry for the long post. Ignore as you which.

The username kinda makes it a little bit obvious but i was DEEP in the dsmp trenches back in the day (and i'll say that i did lurk around leaktwt) and the 5sos fandom is my first fandom that ive fully immersed after the dsmp, so i made fan account, interact more with the fanbase itself and not just lurk around etc.

But like, idk if its bc the times changed but this fandom is Really Bad at holding people accountable, not only the band itself but the fandom as a whole. Ive remember that one Ella account that wished that S lost their baby and she was pretty fatphobic and there was some accounts that were in the gc with Ella and they apparently "didnt know" about the things she was saying and they are still getting interaction with MUKTIPLE fans like they also dont agree with what was said in that chat considering that they LITERALLY REACTED WITH LAUGHING EMOJI AND LMAOS??? And most people that interact with those accounts are L lanes which?? U dont have to like S and her relationship with L, but the fact that they spoke about a unborn child like that is kinda wild to me?? And idk if this is a mega woke take but i dobt think i would like to interact with an account that wished harm upon a random baby. I dont even NEED to begin to say about the racism situation bc. Oof. That was horrible. Like, they didnt post ANYTHING besides that one stupid "we dont like discrimination" post that didnt even adress the fact that the band was interacting with a racist account??? Like, not even a single "were sorry to interact with that account and we have changed since then" like, its not that fucking hard???? And even more recently, with this whole solosos thing, like, they OBVIOUSLY SAW the post, cant they just come and stop being cowards and just say WHY they did that?? Like, even if the reason is that they simply dont want to anymore. Like, fans have already began to make excuses for them, like, i saw one account saying that L was crying on the last time they played solosos bc he knew it would be the last which. Hes a grown man. That decision ALSO came from him. WHY TF IS HE CRYING FOR SOMETHING THAT HE >>CHOOSE<< TO DO???? HE HAD AN OPTION TO NOT CUT THE SOLOS HE JUST DIDNT WANT TO??

Not only that, but ever since that A group chat fiasco ive been thinking, like, did NO ONE in that damn gc tracked ANYTHING?? Like, the few ss that they have dont have a proper context, and did no one had like, another device/camera to take pics of the godforsaken msgs?? Like, NO ONE??? No one thought of trying to find his ip? Ask for his number?? NOTHING?? back in my day there would be 3 different threads of different people exposing people in the dsmp WITH A SHIT TON OF SS and a long as fuck thread detalling what they did and shit, and now? The most u get its like 'well he did SOMETHING but im not going to say what and u just have to get. I also dont qant to expose the msgs that i have bc i dont want to invade hia privacy' LIKE MF??? U WANT PEOPLE TO NOT BE HIS FAN ANYMORE WITHOUT FULLY EXPLAINING WHY THEY SHOULDNT BE HIS FANS ANYMORE?!?!? And like, no one bothers exposing any of the people that apparently were on his side on the gc like, HELLO??? AND. AND. To make it WORSE, those same people that were in the gc are STILL GOING TO THE FUCKING CONCERTS. Like, ure giving money to a guy that supposedly groomed u and other people like its nothing?? And they give u the excuse that they arent thwre for him but like, youre giving him money one way or the other and wven if youre going for the other 3 they still are bad bc they defended a possible groomer and there NO WAY that they didnt know so why exactly youre still supporting them?? Like, when Dream was going down his friends were also going along with him bc they defended the guy who was CLEARLY in the wrong so why cant u people do the same. Like, with Wilbur people IMMEDIATLY stop listening to his music bc he was a bad person, and the only one that stayed are clearly weird, not only that, but his friends stop associating with him, its not that fucking hard if they dont agree with A actions to not be associated with him, but no they clearly dont give a fuck about the people involved and still are buddies wirh him so they arent those saints the people claim to be??? Just stop giving money to people that clearly dont care qbout the fact that his friend is a bad person is not that fucking hard bro, theres no 'oh but i cant stop listening to their music' YES U CAN. U CAN STOP SPENDING MONEY ON THESE PEOPLE BUT U DONT WANT TO.

...anyways. this fandom is horrible, and i can say it bc i was a dsmp fan. And again, maybe its bc i havent been in a fandom for such a long time that im not really used to a lot a thing but dear christ. A lot of people need to think more. Sorry for the spelling mistakes, there are many i know but its bc i type really fast lol.
