Hi! Weird question maybe...

I play ball hockey as a goalie. When I receive the puck in the chesty, should I be able to see it as it hits me?

I feel like i can't see it, maybe because the ¨tits¨ of the chesty are a bit too big, like being too fat and not being able to see down there? There is no interference with my helmet, I feel like the chesty, Bauer Flylite, fits well, maybe arm just a bit too long but for the rest all good. I dont tuck it, but I attach it with the cord to my pants.

I give a lot of goals where I think i have the ball secured, but it falls on on the side and they put it in the net.

Maybe it's the equipement, and maybe it's a skill I should learn...

Any help, or tips? Thank you in advance :D
