First time Civilization player, finally got my first victory after playing for 65 hours

I picked the game up a while ago when it was on sale. I had never really played a strategy game before, but I like history, so I wanted to give it a shot.

So far I have been really enjoying the game, even though I'm terrible at it. I've tried a bunch of different times, but never came anywhere close to winning. But today after 65 hours I've finally managed to get a victory.

I got a science victory. The Aztecs came very close to getting to getting a culture victory, but I just managed to beat them (after I nuked them a couple times to try to slow them down)

I think I'm addicted to the game, I want to try out some of the older games as well now.
