Sunny X Cassie

During the 'Prince of Nothing' volume, in the Night Temple.

When the masters locked up Cass and Sunny in a single room (not the essence-draining jail)

Sunny looked into Cassie's eyes for a long moment. And G3 also described the moment in pretty detail(Ik it was a horror arc).

I thought they would crack at that point.

How could he?

In the chapters where Sunny attained the [Shadow Weave], it was stated that he could, with effort, turn his essence into true Darkness.

We all know that Darkness is the enemy of shadows.

It was also stated that True Darkness was outside the Gods' jurisdiction and does not follow their ranks at all, and that it wasn't of the World but of the Void.

But then again, the Gods were also born of the Void, so there is definitely some relation between them and things of the Void.

My question is: what could be the process by which he could turn his essence into True Darkness?

It has to be fundamentally different from what he channels Neph's or Saint's Essence to copy their abilities or physicality.

What do you think he would have to do?

Can it be Greater than fate?

For starters, on Reckoning Island, we saw that the mirror beast had even copied Sunny's True Name, which Sunny used against itself. Which worked too.

And True Name is something that is deeply connected to someone's Fate.

So, in a sense, it reflected Sunny's fate, or at least a part of it.

Fun Fact: It died just as it reflected his fate😭🥀

And we know that reflections are connected to Nothing, as in Nothingness.

Moving on, in [The Weave's] description, it was phrased that "... Fate is Great. There is nothing greater than fate..."

Matter of fact: Nothing is antithetical to both Void and Flame, which Fate governs. And something which is connected to it(Mirror beast) reflected it.

My take: Just like Weaver had planned to change Fate by their absurd planning, could the Gods have planned to change Fate at once too? (I am not too sure about it, either.)

But those are the Great Gods. In the chained Isles, we also saw the Sun God's sorcery with which he took some strings of fate and placed them in some knives.

If a 1/7th of a Great God could start planning to change Fate, why couldn't the Gods, at some point, think like Weaver too and work to break Fate and create Nothing.

(I know that Nothing was used to seal Void and hold it back, but it could, potentially, have some other reasons too.)

I could be terribly wrong in my theory, but... It's just a theory.

So, share your thoughts.

I think it wasn't just love...

During the TOA, when Sunny and Neph arrived at Fallen Grace, we got to see Chronos' reaction after looking at Neph.

It was described as:

'He felt a strange longing after looking at her.'

Neph's aspect description also says: '...comes indescribable Longing.'

So, after Sunny met Neph during the FS, they travelled and reached the Ashen Barrow. There was a scene where Neph was just sitting looking west, and Sunny immediately felt like, ' How could Neph be feeling down? Let me bring her fruits. (I know it was also because of the Tree.)

But don't you think it was too severe a reaction? I think it was her 'Longing' affecting him, just like it did to all of the FS inhabitants.

Moving forward, they went to Dark City. Sunny left the Cohort.

There he met those who had kidnapped Kai. They called Nephis a 'Bitch', which infuriated Sunny to no end, and he literally killed them for only speaking that? Dude, even after killing Harper, he felt bad for it for a long time. And then, he just went and killed SIX Humans just for INSULTING NEPHIS?

Mind you, he tolerates insults like a brick wall; he likes being viewed as weak.

But he literally killed them for insulting a girl he met a few months ago? (He hates killing humans.)

We also got to see his POV after entering the Outer settlements again and seeing Nephis after a long time.

It was described as him feeling a strange emotion(It could be the influence of her aspect)

[I might be wrong too, but the real reason behind his love for her, even after her betrayal, could be her aspect.]

Don't give me bullshit like he fought side by side with her and all. He fought by Jet's side too, but he was also feeling wary of her after finding out her flaw in Antarctica after she became a corpse.

Otherwise, I don't see any sense in his reactions after seeing her. It could not be just love.

Also, don't give me bullshit like love knows no sense and all. He was a paranoid, cunning bastard who only cared about his own survival, but he killed people for insulting her.

After the FS it could be love too, but logically it shouldn't be before.

It would be hilarious!

In [The Weave]'s Description, Weaver said that the Third Paradox would have a Great God's Aspect, have to be an Avatar of Fate, and have a daemon's curse.

It was stated that the Daemons were forbidden from siring offspring.

So, my take is that the curse Weaver talked about makes Sunny...Impotent or infertile.

If Sunny becomes a 'Fail Man', he will come one step closer to 'Lady' Sunless.

Yeah, you lot can kill me if you want for this.

...or praise the 'minimum voice' for its epic theory.

4th PARADOX Theory!!!

So, In the recent Chapters we came to know about a new concept of Paradox. There are three paradox mentioned:

  1. Flame:- Flame of desire is the paradox of void because it is born of the void but it completely opposes Void. [Chaos-Order]

2)Imperfection:- FG or daemons are Paradox of Order (it is Sunny's guess). So Order's Paradox is 'Imperfection'

  1. Sunless: He is the paradox of Fate. because Fate can't govern him( this might be the True boon G3 be talking about)

so, over 'paradox' of 'something' is which 'something' can't control or govern.

So, what would be the Paradox of 'Imperfection'

Mordret of course.

This is my theory;

'something'(Void) can still somewhat influence its 'Paradox' (eg, Void corrupting the flame)

AND 'imperfection'(or FG) is the Paradox of ORder(Flame)

This states that a Paradox can also have a paradox( eg. Void's paradox Flame. Flame's Paradox 'FG')

So, can't it mean that 'FG' or 'imperfection', which is a paradox, can have its own paradox?

Mordret is Flawless but he still is somewhat broken but not like the initial 7 pieces. He was affected by imperfection till Other Mordy killed Mordy, after that new Mordy was born. He is still suffering from being flawed(his memories are hazy) but he is overall Flawless.

Which means that Law of Imperfection can't govern 'Him'.

But he can still grow stronger because he is still somewhat broken defying the law the Imperfection.

He is Flawless but is still a little flawed.

It means he was born under 'imperfection' but it can't govern him.

Imma glaze Mordy some more But Give your Thoughts about this.

Mordy Is 'HIM'
