Max switches are creamier

My first time hot swapping switches. It was satisfying! I had Halo 75 v2 with Mint switches. Pretty soft and marbly but a bit too soft for me. Led to decent amount of typos. Ordered the Red Max and Brown Max switches and they are noticeably marbly and creamier sounding than Mint switches. I feel they are also slightly more muted. Parts of the board are Red Max and other are Brown Max. I personally prefer Linear Red Max over Tactile Brown Max but that’s me. People who love Tactile, the Brown max is a muted tactile in comparison to Lemon IMO. Good upgrade and typos significantly lowered!

Mint vs Brown max switches

Got the Nuphy Halo 75 v2 about a month ago and I love the melt under my finger Mint keys and sounds creamy. However, I am making typos. Fingers slightly slips and an unwanted key is activated. I am considering Brown Max tactile switches thinking they are harder to press and tactile leading to better control. What do you think? Or Red Max linear would be better?

I also have a Keychron K2 HE for gaming. I don’t make as many mistakes and I assume it is because it’s harder to press down. However, Keychron doesn’t sound as satisfying as Nuphy.
