As title suggests, I found this worm(?) making its way around the top of the soil. Is this a friendly and needs to be put back or do I have a problem here?

Is this leaf ok? Just picked Nema up from a box store on the discount rack. Everything else seems to be ok except this one leaf which is yellowish and has a different texture from the other leaves. And what could cause the spot on the first leaf?

Me thinks a few more tries and they’ll get it
