I’m still super happy with yesterday’s episode. I was freaking out when I saw Mushi and Yokomizo interacting with each other again (along with an official face reveal for the anime), especially since this was an interaction specifically made for Wan! 2

Although I would love to post all the pictures of my boyfriends (Mushi, Ranpo, Poe, and yes, Yokomizo), I don’t want non Wan! watchers to be excluded, so I’ll be posting more pictures that aren’t related to Wan. After the season ends, there will definitely be an increase of Wan! 2 posting

I colored in Yokomizo’s character reference sheet using the colors he has in Wan! Of course Wan has very bright, vibrant colors so I don’t think this color scheme would be one to one with the main anime. (If you want a more main anime accurate version of what he would look like, I think turning the Vibrance down to -44 and putting the Saturation up to 16 gives a better idea)

But I do think this looks a lot better than an earlier coloring attempt I did this summer (where I had to basically cross reference the colors myself based on different scenes, official art, and lighting)

In the beginning of Yokomizo’s section in the ending credits, we briefly see that his hakama is the same kind of blue that he wears in the book cover art. Since the episode didn’t establish if the color shown was a highlight or shadow, I used the blue from the book cover art to color the hakama

I absolutely love how this came out! He looks beautiful and gorgeous (as if he was anything but before)

I was not expecting such a Ranpo focused episode! He had so many cute faces! I was so happy to see that the chapter where Fukuzawa uses the book for parents as a guide on how to help Ranpo was animated

Poe was stunning this episode (as always). I’m so glad that the handshake he did with Karl was kept in (I was really worried they wouldn’t when I saw no Jarl in the trailer). I also loved seeing jealous Poe being animated

Mushi’s facial expressions in the beginning were a little wonky, but I loved seeing him regardless. I love that the blush in Picture 3 shows that he actually does like Ranpo and Poe (despite saying they’re not friends). He cares, but he has a hard time being genuine and vulnerable with others 😢

And not only did we get a cameo from Yokomizo, but his first official face reveal outside of the character animation sheet and book cover?! And Bones actually did him justice! He’s such an adorable cutie pie!

Overall I’m really happy with this episode. I’m celebrating so hard right now 🎉
