Finally watching season two of wan and am crying. He's such a cutie. I want to squish his cheeks and bite his face off, in a cuteness aggression way. I can't believe my port mafia boss is that cute. I need me a man like him in life, to keep me going and balance out my usual dramatics (with an occasional mutual indulgence in them, of course). Or maybe I need a plushie. Maybe both. Ah. I've missed bsd so much, I'm glad I now have the time to actually watch the episodes!!! All of my favorite chapters are finally getting adapted, I'm so glad. (Like the Rashomon umbrella...Im so happy we have it animated now.) Wan and mlp are my go-tos whenever I feel even a twinge down. There's just something about seeing my favorite characters in comical peril, rather than their usual, serious, dramatic setting.
And ah, they're just all so cute as dogs!!! I'm glad Mori appeared to be a black Labrador, it honestly suits him quite well. I do appreciate that it wasn't a Doberman or a German Shepherd, I feel like those options would've been a tad more predictable. Him being a Labrador is an excellent choice. Those ears 😭💜. Cutest creature in the world for sure, and Elise looked so adorable too, like a fluffy little princess.
Made me wonder what my main oc, Charles Baudelaire, and I would be like as a dog. For my oc I'm thinking an Irish setter. He does have long crimson locks, and his overall tall lanky nature demands a long-legged canine. As for myself, I'd probably be a Papillon, lmao.

Haven't been posting here for a bit, since my probation period was drawing to a close and I had to lock in. I've attended several company events and socialized ect. Despite my best efforts and being worked to the bone, I still got called into office today (worked from home) and got told that I'll be let go by the end of august, lmao. And then immediately got an offer to become a contractor instead. I guess they really don't like paying worker benefits and dealing with legal issues when it comes to potentially unlawful termination of their employees, huh. Kind of a surprise, since I've only been getting praise for my work, but whatever. I've gained so many cases for my portfolio and a positive recommendation letter, so meh. I shall sail to another sea, free as a bird. It's for the best.

Hopefully you guys are doing well! At least now I can have some free time to write. Thank gods for that. I'm actually thinking to post oc lore soon on Marcel Proust before Theodore de Banville, since I'm still switching things up for the latter. I want to make his fate a tad bit worse, for the drama of it all. Think lady stoneheart from asoiaf. Of course, that requires a whole other oc and an expansion of O'Connor's character arc, so it will take some time.
Marcel, however, is pretty set in stone, and I do so love my living archive of a man. So I will write on him soon! Now that I don't have to bust my bottom off to keep my employment, I can actually deal with my portfolio, resume and have time to write. And sleep. And cook. There's a silver lining in everything.
