What’s the strangest thing that has happened to you since you ‘woke up’ to the Mandela Effect?

The Mandela Effect by its very nature is weird but I was wondering if anyone had experienced anything very strange since seeing the Mandela Effect.

In February 2016 I woke to a sort of sleep paralysis, it never happened before or since, on the very day I noticed my first clear definitive Mandela Effects (Lords prayer trespasses to debts and John 14:6 the way the truth and the light, now life). I couldn’t move for a couple of minutes it was literally like a heavy weight was on my whole body pinning me to the bed!

Has anything really strange or weird happened to you (other than waking up to a completely changed world).

POLL: Has anyone else noticed an increase in mirror/angel numbers since the Mandela Effect?

Most commonly referred to as mirror or angel numbers are numbers seen in a sequence, 3:33, 4:44 for example. They are usually more noticeable on things like digital clocks, receipts and licence plates.

Have you seen an increase? Because I have, especially so over the last few months. My most frequently seen numbers are 3:33, 4:44 and 11:11, although I do see the others because I use a 24 hour clock and that’s where I see the majority of mine (clock, phone, tablet etc).

It would be great to get your vote and what numbers you see and where.

If Jesus is now a stonemason and not a carpenter does that also make him a freemason?

TLDR: Apparently Jesus was now more likely to have been a stonemason than a carpenter and as freemasonry is derived from the stonemasons guild, does that make Jesus a Freemason?

Jesus and his earthly father Joseph have, to my recollection, always ben carpenters but now for more than one reason it is theorised he was in fact a stonemason.

The main reasons given for this belief seems to be that the majority of buildings, houses, and most implements were made out of stone and not wood. Also it is believed to be a translation issue (funny how there’s another ME where miscommunication is at fault) which apparently only seems to have come to light recently!

I have certainly never heard of it, have you?

Since freemasonry is directly derived from the guild of stonemasons does that make Jesus a mason now?

Refer to images for more detailed information (all July 2026).

Didn’t the Eiffel Tower used to Black and not Brown?

TLDR: This is a fairly recent one for me but I have a clear ‘anchor’ memory of the Eiffel Tower being black and not brown as it is now and has been since 1968!

I actually about 3 hours, on a sunny day in the early 2000’s, lying on some grass simply staring at it because I was stunned by its intricate lattice work and how beautiful it was. I had previously not been overly interested in it but seeing it was something else and really left a mark on me. And it was definitely black.

Some history: The iconic landmark was designed by Gustave Eiffel for the 1889 world fair in Paris and was given permission to remain in place until 1909 (20 years) after which it would dismantled and sold for scrap. Gustave was so determined to keep it that, in 1903, he offered it to the French Military as a radio antennae to intercept wireless messages and in 1908 it proved its worth intercepting critical information. This basically saved it!

The tower was allowed to stay because it is so useful for broadcasting and is a huge tourist attraction and famous worldwide.

It still used to be black!

Recently time seems to have returned to normal after being “sped up” for a few years - is it a coincidence CERN has powered down?

A known Mandela Effect is the speeding up of time! It simply seemed like there weren’t enough hours in the day!

For a few years when using the 1 Mississippi, 2 Mississippi (and so on) method of counting seconds and comparing it to a timer/stop watch showed that after counting to ten, fifteen seconds had passed on the timer.

The last few days i noticed that there seems to be more time so i have been doing the counting and its 10 seconds the same as the timer.

Is Time back to normal?

So is it just a co-incidence that CERN shut down the Large Hadron Collider on 29th June?

Only time will tell.

Whacky Races & “Catch the Pigeon” or at east it used to be before the Mandela Effect

Do you remember the cartoon Whacky Races, especially Dastardly & Mutley, in their flying machines?

The change is in the shoot off series “catch the Pigeon” as they chase and try to catch Yankee Doodle Pigeon. The series song was horrendously catchy to the point I still have it in my head today and it’s why this is an Anchor Memory for me - “catch the pigeon, catch the pigeon, nab him, grab him”.

Apparently now it is “stop the pigeon”, has always been “stop” and was never “catch”. Internet searches, as usual with the Mandela Effect, show confusing results (see images).

Does anyone else remember this?

Member of sub consistently posting then deleting posts using multiple user ID’s

Exactly as the title says.

A member of our sub consistently posts in the sub and then for unknown reasons deletes them (over 11 so far).

They also seem to have multiple user ID’s (9 at last count) which sometimes simply vanish overnight along with her posts and comments. The removal always says “removed by person who posted it” and their user name vanishes, so unless we are quick we miss it.
We are able to identify them with a new user profile as they post exactly the same post with their video and then they delete them as usual.

I’m unsure as to the best way to deal with this as in the past we had issues with one of her alternative users and had to ban, mute and block them on our DM’s after receiving hostile messages. They were unhappy i would not make them a mod and now suspect they are reporting any comments that disagree with them (and she then deletes the post anyway)

The problem is she comes back with a new profile but i can’t prove it is them apart from the posting and deleting.

Also I’m concerned it will damage the sub? Is posting and deleting (by user) detrimental to the sub?

Any ideas/help would be appreciated.

Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet Window Scene! Hands Up If You Remember a Balcony? - With Cultural References/Residue.

TLDR: Virtually every production of Romeo & Juliet has a balcony scene. A balcony was added to her house, in Verona, in the 20th Century, even though now the balcony has never existed in the play & was always a window!

This Is A huge ME for me as not only am I interested in this production but I also went to Verona in Italy to see the balcony.

Act 2, Scene 2 of Romeo & Juliet is the balcony scene & is one of the most iconic scenes in all of Shakespeare’s productions. Virtually every production since it was written, including the Royal Shakespeare Company (See cultural references/Residue) has the scene centred around the balcony.

The balcony scene (and balcony) now don’t exist and never has. Then why is it in every movie & production around the world?

Juliets balcony is located down a small alley off Verona’s main square. The house is genuinely thought to be the one which Shakespeare used as his inspiration, and pre ME had a balcony.

The balcony (apparently now not originally on the house) was added between 1939-1940. So if the balcony never existed in the play or real life why add it? Why add something unnecessary & modern to a centuries old building if that something never existed in the first place? It was hardly for tourism considering the world was at war!

1000’s people every year go to Verona with the sole purpose of seeing both the balcony and statue, I know I did, often leaving notes all over the walls of the alley that have to be regularly cleaned off. They go because the balcony scene is iconic & the story is inherently a story of love & romance (albeit with a sad ending). If the balcony scene didn’t exist why do they go to see it?

In modern construction small balconies are often named “Juliet Balconies”. Why?

Pre ME: Juliet appears on her balcony & Romeo climbs up to her. The balcony was originally on the house when it was built and was not a modern addition.

Post ME: Juliet appears in a window! There is no balcony, there has never been a balcony only a window.

The explanation for this difference is Shakespeare didn’t use the word balcony but instead used window as ‘balcony’ was not a common word in England so everyone
assumed it was a balcony! Yet another illogical misunderstanding centred around the ME.

Harry Houdini the Famous Illusionist Died in October 1926 but How? Do You Remember Him Drowning or Dying From Peritonitis (or neither)? Vote to find the answer.

The death of Harry Houdini is different for me but I want to see if it is different for others and confirm it is part of the Mandela Effect.

Houdini died in October 1926 aged 52 yrs & is one of the most famous illusionists & escapologists in history & was known for pushing the boundaries of not only illusion but also human endurance. He is said to have possessed almost superhuman stamina; escaping from water filled milk cans to jumping off bridges in chains & leg irons! He also designed his own illusions including water torture call featured in this post.

How do YOU remember him dying?

Drowned: Died in front of a horrified audience performing the Chinese water torture cell

Peritonitis: Died from peritonitis caused by a ruptured Appendix after receiving several forceful blows to the stomach.

Neither

Once voting is finished I will post the results and any conclusions reached. This post is deliberately vague as I don’t want to influence any votes.

Please take a second to vote.. Thanks.

The Four Horsemen - How is Pestilence the Same as Conquest (With Cultural References/Residue)

.

TLDR: Before the Mandela Effect the 1st of the 4 horsemen was Pestilence now it has changed to Conquest with the ‘explanation’ that they basically amount to the same thing!

Pestilence, War, Famine & Death known collectively as the four horsemen of the Apocalypse feature in Bible prophecy [Revelations 6:1-8] and signify the start of End Times. They come to bring cataclysmic devastation to the world - The Apocalypse.

Would you be surprised to hear that this has changed and Biblically the first horseman is no longer (and has never been) Pestilence but is actually now Conquest, coming to conquer [Rev 6:2]?

Image 2: Google search with a very unconvincing ‘explanation’ as to why in society he’s known as Pestilence.

How is Conquest remotely related to Pestilence? And why, if it’s always been Conquest is he known globally as something else! Why change his name? What was the need? Surely there would be no difference apart from the 4 horsemen being called as they are now, Conquest, War, Famine & Death.

Also why has no one ever really questioned this? Apparently it has always been conquest & no one has brought up why he’s called Pestilence.

Cultural Reference: 1980’s cult UK TV comedy series called - The Young Ones (S1 E5) “Interesting”. 4 Horsemen scene start: 8.05 mins

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9zjV4c\_hPqM

The change is because Conquest is actually the Antichrist masquerading as Jesus (white horse, crown) but instead of wielding a sword (Jesus) he has a bow with no arrows. It will be the physical manifestation of the false messiah who is already at work in the world - see links to previous posts for more ME changes in the Bible, what the changes mean and their connection to End Time prophecy (They contain a lot of detail):

POLL: Have Your Dreams Changed in Recent Years Since The Mandela Effect?

Since “waking up” to the Mandela Effect I no longer dream and it made me wonder if it was/ is the cause as going to sleep is literally nothingness until I wake up! I used to dream most nights but for years now, nothing!

This poll is to see if anyone else’s dreaming has been affected or changed in recent years and if there is any connection to the Mandela Effect so I’d really appreciate if you could take a few seconds and vote.

If your dreams have changed, regardless of being affected by the ME or not, it would be great if you could leave a few details in the comments including the date it started for you & if you are affected I’d really appreciate it if you could put ME in your comment.

Thanks
