• Do they extract resources passively the same way they go about gathering them?

• Is a digging squad supposed to dig around resources, extract resources, or both?

• Do the digging squads exist separate from your normal Catgoblins? If you try to summon a squad when they are all busy does nothing happen?

• Which upgrades do I need to get the most out of catgoblin extraction? More Catgoblins? More squads? Faster digging? Less downtime?

I'm trying to do Iron Challenge with Beastmaster utilizing the Efficient Catgoblins supplement.

I'm working on "Survival of the Fittest - Challenge" right now.

After a few playthroughs, I noticed I had more of an edge in the last one:

• The top of the mine was narrow, compacting those resources into a comparatively small space. Lots of early resources.

• The mobs in waves were ideal. Didn't have to deal with double Banes pounding on my dome in wave 2.

Still ended up croaking on wave 7, but much farther than the wave 3-4 I was croaking on in earlier attempts.

Has anyone noticed they have to start-scum a lot in order to deal with the tougher challenges?

Feels kinda sad. As if it's not skill that beats the toughest ones, but a healthy dose of RNG. Especially since the early game is so critical.

I was just reading a girl dinner diary about a jerk boyfriend.

Seems there's no shortage of boyfriends having an insensitive moment - undoubtedly by not treating a magical day as magical enough.

But what about the insensitive things girlfriends do? Surely they exist - but they happen in different flavors.

I'll start.

I got dinged in the balls by a line drive. No protection. Just straight baseball to ball.

I'm not going to give you the details of what I felt or how many people said I needed to go to the hospital or how carefully I had to lay in bed for the next 2 weeks.

When my girlfriend called me later that night she started rambling about some gossip or whatever bullshit at her lifeguard job.

I said "Girlfriend..." and described to her what happened.

And she started going on about her bullshit again.

I said "Girlfriend..." and described more carefully and slowly what happened.

She said "Okay?! Can I finish?!"

...she's fat now with kids (but happy - and good for her - but also fuck her for this)

I haven't used Cinnamon On! pouches in 2 days and was going nuts burning through the last of my wintergreens as I transition to gum.

The wintergreen didn't even feel like it was there.

But this cinnamon stick? Instant burn. Scratching the itch better than nicotine, honestly.
