Please help - which Lidar mower?
Please help me choose the best LIDAR mower - I have narrowed it down to Navimow, Mammotion and Dreame / Mova.
We have a second home in France, with approx 1700m2 of 'new garden' - flat lawn with various flower beds, most with iron borders, but some without a physical border. The only path also has an iron border. We have loungers on the lawn and the occasional mole hill. My biggest concern is the pool in the middle which has a tile surround that sits flush to the grass - no physical border between the grass and the pool, so nothing to stop the mower rolling straight in and drowning.
My requirements:
Must not fall in pool!
Zero set up
No reliance on wifi / mobile coverage or satellite - we're very rural and connectivity is patchy at best
Good customer service / after care - we're clueless so if something goes wrong we will need help. Happy to have help in either English or French!
We are not looking for something to set and forget - we will run the mower only when we're there and can keep half an eye on it (but don't want to be babysitting it constantly to stop it falling into the pool), but we do want to run it daily to support the thickness/quality of our lawn and keep it looking 'freshly mown'.
We also have an 'old garden' in which the lawn is older and less fast growing. It would be a bonus if the mower could also cover that, maybe less frequently, but it has lots of trees, pine needles, pine cones, a pergola, to navigate around, so it might be that we need to continue to mow this traditionally. About same area again.
We are hoping to spend around £1200 / USD$1500.
