Thought I needed my smile lines filled, but nope

Had deep smile lines for years and they were seriously living in my head. Booked a consult ready to tell her to just fill the folds. She said nah, it'd look heavy and fake. Said my cheeks had lost volume and the lines were basically a symptom. So she put a little HA in my cheeks and barely touched the folds. Day 3 I was like, did anything even happen?? By day 6 the lines looked softer and my face looked lifted.

It was HA too, so if I hated it she could dissolve it. That made me way less nervous going in tbh.

Moral of the story, let the injector look at your whole face first. The thing you hate isn't always the thing that needs filler. Also, always get HA, seriously. Having an undo button is worth it.
