Trump just created a vehicle to steal the next election

In 2020 Trump was able to marshal people to Washington to “stop the steal” but when he tried to get states to not certify their elections, he fell short. If he had attempted to threaten or offer money, it would have been illegal with legal repercussions.

This slush fund just created a workaround.

He couldn’t offer Raffensperger cash to not certify, but he could now add him into the lawsuit if he claimed to be the target of the Biden DOJ and the panel who Trump has the ability to fire at will agreed. There is also the fact that if the settlements are secret, we would never know.

And now expand this to every state that Trump claimed was stolen. Not everyone would accept the deal, but you can’t tell me that no one would.

Add this into the fact that the people arrest and tried from J6 have now been pardoned and may get a payday, what to stop them from doing it again?

If used correctly (or incorrectly) this fund is literally a tool to fund the next coup, let alone the billions for the executives private militia in ICE that they are again murmurs about being deployed to polling stations.

Speaker Mike Johnson rejects “this new term Christian nationalism” as “derogatory”

“The naysayers who have created this new term ‘Christian Nationalism’ as a pejorative, a derogatory term, are trying to silence the influence and voices of Christians. And I think that’s wildly inappropriate.”

Sir, as someone who was raised in the Catholic Church and spent summers as Christian bible study camps, Sundays at Sunday School, and has left the “church” but kept my faith; fuck you.

If we include the Jewish members of the House there are 63 members who are Jewish (24), Muslim (4), Hindu (4), Unitarian Universalist (3), Buddhist (2), Unknown (22), and Unaffiliated (4).

If 14% not being Christian is silencing Christian voices, then damn what would you call 40% of a population that’s a certain race not having a representative in government for their state…

Todd Blanche: “there’s a ton of evidence” that the 2020 presidential election was rigged

Also Todd Blanche “I’m not going to promise there’s going to be a definitive answer. That wouldn’t be fair to you or anybody else, but we are looking at it, and we’re hoping to get one.”

Whenever this administration says anything it’s either a lie, half truth, or just straight making a mountain out of an anthill. If they don’t say it in a courtroom, add a gain of salt to the statement.

As a country we should be looking into laws that will punish elected officials and members of an administration that just straight up lie to the public.

Chants of ‘death to Arabs’ at Jerusalem Day march as Ben Gvir flies Israeli flag on Temple Mount

Chants of “Death to Arabs” and “May your villages burn”. Calls for Palestinians to be removed from Gaza and settlements moved into the territory. Calls for the Dome of the Rock to be torn down.

I’m sure that last one will go over great with our allies in the area. You can waive your hands at it calling them a minority, but it’s a minority that has multiple loud and powerful voices in the government.

Trump Guts California’s Medicaid Over Alleged Fraud

Guess what, JVL was right. Fuck it, if they want to fight let’s have Texas and Florida support the welfare queens of the South. Make them ungerrymander their maps or some shit to get their federal funding. You don’t win by playing nice, you win by making it more painful for them to try it. Turning the other cheek will only get you slapped twice.

Israel said to have built secret base in Iraqi desert to support Iran air campaign

Like maybe someone can help me better understand military wise, but I don’t think it’s normal to allow a country to set up a military base in a different country without clearing it with them first… and even launching air strikes to keep said country away from the military base.

And yes I am very aware of the geopolitics behind the Iraqi government and the Sunni/Shia divisions in the country.

Mississippi house to hold redistricting session at Jim Crow era capitol

You can’t make this shit up…

This is literally the old capitol building where Mississippi lawmakers voted to secede from the Union. Where Jim Crow laws were drafted and passed.

And now where they will try and make every congressional district republican. The cry of “the south will rise again” is now outdated.

“When Mississippi lawmakers met in 1861 and voted to secede from the union in an effort to continue enslaving people, they did so in what is now known as the Old Capitol Museum. From 1839 to 1903, lawmakers met at a building that witnessed some of the state’s most racist history.

And now, on 20 May, when members of Mississippi’s house convene for a special session to redraw state supreme courtdistricts, they will do so at the Old Capitol, ostensibly because of renovations in the house chamber.

Jason White, Mississippi’s Republican house speaker, told local outlet WLBT that any special session called between now and January 2027 would be held in the Old Capitol house chamber. The state senate will still use the new capitol building.

The last time lawmakers met at the Old Capitol was in 2009, when they did so to ceremonially acknowledge restoration to the building, which had been damaged during Hurricane Katrina. When lawmakers have needed to meet outside the current capitol building previously, during extensive renovations in the 1980s, they met at the old Central high school building, also in downtown Jackson.”

Republican “appointed”

I understand why it is said, but I’m sorry we need to drop the pretense. There are ZERO parts of society that aren’t infiltrated by politics. Nowhere is sacred, not even the age old “you don’t talk politics in the bar” is dead and gone. We have the first American Pope, and a large portion of the country hate him because he holds views that almost every other modern Pope has held.

These are Republican Judges. We shouldn’t call them anything other than that. Maybe they will rule without their political views interjecting, but the law at this point is truly who has the majority on the given court. They are playing that way, so to not also play the game is to lose it.

I truly hope that each and every one of them suffer for being pathetic wastes of space. If Biden did these things, they would have had heart attacks. If Obama did it…

Hope their souls are worth the country club invite.

“Project Freedom” is set to start Monday May 4th. He is calling it a humanitarian mission, because both his poll numbers and the economy need a rescue mission performed. I’m sure NOTHING can go wrong.

“President Donald Trump has said that the United States will “free up” ships stuck in the Strait of Hormuz starting on Monday, suggesting that his administration will break the Iranian blockade on the strategic waterway.
Trump’s said on Sunday that the push – dubbed Project Freedom – would be a “humanitarian gesture”, warning Iran against interfering with the operation.

“Many of these Ships are running low on food, and everything else necessary for largescale crews to stay on board in a healthy and sanitary manner,” the US president wrote in a social media post.
“I think it would go a long way in showing Goodwill on behalf of all of those who have been fighting so strenuously over the last number of months. If, in any way, this Humanitarian process is interfered with, that interference will, unfortunately, have to be dealt with forcefully.”
Trump said he told his representatives to inform Iranian officials that the US will “use best efforts to get their Ships and Crews safely out of the Strait”.”

I still think that this was just a crazy guy who had access to firearms, but god damn the speed at which this has gone from what we should be talking about in the shortcomings of the Secret Service to “we need a ballroom NOW” is wild.

Also you read that right, TAXPAYER. So not only billions into the Middle East in wars and soon to be bailouts, but now say thank you and fork over the money so daddy can have his gawdy money maker at the White House.

This is an old bill from 2024 that is being brought back up for consideration, and as detailed in the article:

“US veterans’ benefits and military protections are, under existing law, tied to service in the American armed forces. The Bill departs from that principle by extending two of the most consequential US protections to Americans fighting for a foreign state. The Servicemembers Civil Relief Act caps interest rates on debt during active service and halts evictions and foreclosures. The Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act compels American employers to hold open the jobs of those called to service.

Under H.R. 8445, an American returning from a tour with the IDF could demand their old job back from a US employer, halt a foreclosure on a US home, and benefit from interest-rate caps on US debt  on the basis of foreign military service.”

As the article states we have Americans that have served and are serving in foreign militaries (one prominent one right now is the International Legion in Ukraine) but Israel is the only country that this is being considered for.

The bill was authored by Rep Guy Reschenthaler and Rep Max Miller, both Republicans. Likely to not come out of committee, especially with sentiment about Israel in both political bases, but still it’s something to look at. I personally am someone who feels that if you have duel citizenship and become a member of Congress you should have to renounce your other citizenship as you should only have allegiance to the country and citizens you represent. Although I don’t think the same about serving in a military, I don’t think you should get the benefits of a veteran of this country while serving for another nation.
