wtf are these "digital pilates reformer" studios with no teacher??

one just opened near me in paris. no instructor. just screens and an app. you follow along on a tablet, nobody corrects your form, nobody checks your springs. it's basically a fancy gym with reformers and a screen.

am i the only one who thinks this is kind of insane? bad form on a reformer can genuinely hurt you, especially beginners. and honestly what even is the point of pilates without real instruction?

i'm working on opening my own small studio and seeing this made me feel some type of way. like is the industry really going toward cheap and automated?

please tell me this is just a weird trend and not the future lol

opening a small reformer studio - any golden tips?

i've been teaching for a while and seriously thinking about opening my own place. small like 4-5 reformers, small group classes, good vibes.

the teaching part i feel good about but everything else honestly overwhelms me a little.

someone recommended me Momence but tbh i just want something really simple. booking, payments, waitlist, and decent support. that's it. anyone found that?

would love to hear from anyone who's REALLY been through it 🙏
