bag of old coins

I am tasked with disposing of an amount of predecimal and a few foreign ( to uk ) coins.

Mostly old pennies, some Threepenny coins and farthings.

Is there a good way to sell them and get a decent price beside auctions or ebay? I just need a fair price, not looking for a fortune, not scrap value.

Not looking to sell them here just need Ideas, any thoughts / suggestions appreciated

Carwow-Auction

F I L has become too old to drive so I had the task of disposing of his '55plate Astra.

IMHO in Good nick ( except for birshit oxidisation on the top of the hatchback.

Drove nice 4 new tyres.

33k miles plus change

Carwow were brilliant. Excellent customer care, very helpful.

It went to auction and the winning bid was 1k everyone was happy, except when the guy picked it up, proceeded to knock it back. We managed to salvage 750 but to be honest felt like a lot of piss was taken.

It had to go as it was a tragic reminder of one more thing the old boy couldnt do, but surely if yourre told it was sold for one price shouldn't that stay the same?
